Infidelity Support Group
Any relationship in which one partner engages willfully in sexual relations with another outside of the partnership is considered to have experienced infidelity. This breach of trust is often traumatizing for the faithful partner as well as the relationship, and support is often needed to heal emotionally and to decide whether or not the relationship should continue after...
It's weird that she knocks on the front door before entering, asks if it's okay to come get some if her clothes, and doesn't park in the garage.
It's hard to see her tearing up and cry and not be able to hold her and comfort her, to know that she's living in agony from the consequences of her actions and feels like she can't come to me for help.
Part of me wants her back here, back in the parenting partnership, laughing when I would make her laugh, doing things together, compensating for each other's weaknesses the way we've learned to do over 9 years. I miss her here.
On the other hand, this woman that I love so much viciously broke my heart just a couple months ago and put me through hell over completely selfish, delusional ideas of another man. An idiot. A thug. Said she didn't love me and was in love with this man who is a stranger to me and everyone we know. Ignored my pain and devastation from the shock of the news. When I asked "Why?!" and "How could you do this?" responded coldly with comments that I should have paid more attention to her, been in better shape, worked harder to get more money for the family because someone ELSE did and that's who she wants to be with.
He dumped her last week when reality started creeping in that he'd have to put up with her every day and deal with me and my kids and real relationship issues. She wasn't just fun anymore. Bye bye!
I don't even know what she's feeling. She can't talk about it yet.
What a mess.
"I still love you. I want whatever happens at the end of this to be the best for all four of us."
(Me, her, and our 2 kids)
She didn't respond.
