Infidelity Support Group
Any relationship in which one partner engages willfully in sexual relations with another outside of the partnership is considered to have experienced infidelity. This breach of trust is often traumatizing for the faithful partner as well as the relationship, and support is often needed to heal emotionally and to decide whether or not the relationship should continue after...
I divorced him - final as of December 17th...woo hoo!!!! :-)
Oh, KARMA is kick-ass!!! Let's see...he took everything from me in my life and I lost my job on top of it. However, I now have full support of family and friends. I have a new job (computer tech, which is exactly the same thing he does - that for years he said I had no clue nor ever would), new life, lost 25 pounds, feeling great, dropped another 219 pounds (ex), doing things that I love to do and just enjoying being a mother to 2 great teenagers!!!
As for her....who knows or cares!!! You reap what you sow!
I chose a better life and I am happy.

I feel like i've lost 25 lbs ... from my shoulders. I can honestly breath again.
I will admit though, what I did was a little uncivilized, and it did just impulsively tumble out of my mouth. But, honestly, I think it did a world of good ... for my mental health.
Don't feel bad for what you said. Really. This whole deal really does not tend to bring out the best in anyone. We all look back and see some of the things we did or said and can CRINGE sometimes. Feel free to take a deep breath, say 'yeah, I said it. so shoot me.' Keep moving forward for yourself. Remember that you are'nt alone is bad conduct, or conduct unbecoming of you, and that you are dealing with the undealable. The uncopeable.
Go easy on you.

@gata: Yes, ma'am. The sun is a little brighter today, now that all her friends know what kind of person she is. And I agree with you about what the professionals say to do because I've been reading books, talking, consulting with friends and professionals... and nothing was helping. Telling that whore off, worked most effectively.
I've been suffering for a year with this crap hanging over me ... who knew it would take less than 5 minutes to cure my issue. Well 5 minutes and some of the nastiest words I could cultivate from the deepest darkest part of me. (they were bad too)
Here's to taking charge of my life!
I doubt I'll ever see the OM again, but if I do, God help him. I'm not a violent person, but I honestly can't say how I would react. Pretty sure it wouldn't be pretty, though.
The funny thing is, the OM is the biggest loser on earth already...no job, no real friends, nothing going for him. He's a chain smoker and drinks probably a fifth of liquor a day. While that's comforting (he's not long for this world), I have to admit that I would love to hear through the grapevine that Karma has reached down from the clouds and smacked the the shit out of him. You know, something like lung cancer, or stomach cancer, or both.
And even thinking that makes me cringe a little. Because that's really not who I am. The rational part of me thinks, "He has to live with himself; I don't." But the emotional part of me wants him to suffer.
So yeah...we all have our moments of weakness with this. While I don't encourage purposeful contact with the OM/OW, I am truly glad that in your case, the contact resulted in a bit of closure.
He's been such a selfish POS, for so long, that he can't live with himself.
Fear not dear friend, he's already getting his. :-)
