Hey, everyone. Hope you're all getting through this painful process by growing stronger. We do this by learning and applying what we learn to our lives.

There's nothing like being manipulated by a CS, right? It's quite the experience, to say the least.

Well, according to this article, my h is not an emotional manipulator. Of course, he has threatened suicide when I told him I wanted a divorce. He also says he's sorry but doesn't really work on our marriage. So maybe my h is just a bit of an emotional manipulator and a lot of selfish, lying asshole.

I fell for a wolf not once, but TWICE! This article is spot on and a good reminder.

And even though I was married to one for nearly 26 years, it was the six months with an alpha wolf that left me absolutely eviscerated. I'm still picking up the pieces.

This explains my husband's mistress to a T, not so much him.

I always call him her puppet because he does things and is manipulated into things so easily by her and oh the guilt trips. Funny how she does that, guilt trips my husband that she deserves better.

Oh a totally crazy note in my story, as we speak, my husband is staked out in the bushes at his mistress' house waiting to catch her in the act of cheating on him.

No worries, when I write my first book I'll share the profit ;) lol.. night

I am at such a loss, I feel like I am going crazy, or at least that is what he told me when he found out I found out that he is seeing someone else. A. he says you cant prove it. B. you need some serious pro. help.
thanks for the site I now know that feeling crazy is a side effect of an emotional manipulator. Now what?

And yes... my stbx/CS is definitely emotionally abusive/manipulative. It's like this article was written about HIM. Especially the part about how they change the emotional climate. My kids would be perfectly happy, but as soon as he walked through the door, instant anxiety and upset. Every day my 7-year-old daughter would cry and say, "I can just never be happy!"

Since I've left him, she doesn't say that anymore. Yes, she misses her daddy sometimes, but for the most part she is much happier, and I am too.
