I would be shocked if he ever tried to come back to me. He made it VERY clear that he wants this divorce, and he tried to tell me that he has actually not been happy for years. I can honestly say that isn't true, he was very happy, because I did not sense that anything was wrong and normally you can at least tell that something if off --even if it's just a feeling, somehow you know. We were perfectly in sync. We went on vacations. He wanted to talk, and to be around me as much as possible. The fact that he's trying to re-write the past really sounds like he's just trying to justify what he's doing now. I think it will be unsuccessful. There were too many happy years to ignore.
I'm going to move on with my life. He's being a jerk now because he knew that I didn't want a divorce, but now my attitude has changed on that. I'm actually starting to look forward to it.
