there was a post about carma and how people get punished for what they do .... well I was all about that post and thought it was good to see how people get punished for what they did wrong by a power much greater than us...until now something really bad happened to my H ....
He had a firecracker accident, he blew up his hand, lost the thumb of his right hand and has month of operations and recovery ahead of him...I dont know if that is punishment for what he did, if it is, I feel it is way to harsh...
I just remembered that post and I feel bad for wishing bad things on my ex best friend (thank good I never wished bad things on my H I dont know if I could handle that)
I dont know I just think even in our anger we need to be careful what we wish for it just might happen.......

Sorry to hear about your husband, that is awful! :( I would not wish bodily harm on my stbx....that is just WAY too harsh. Maybe an unplanned pregnancy with the whore, but not physical injury!

I am sorry about your husband too. That is horrible. Sometimes, karma has nothing to do with bad things that happen to people. I also believe, karma doesn't happen when one person wishes something bad on another; I doubt one single person's will or negative energy will sway a higher power in destroying another's life.
I understand your point though, we shouldn't wish misfortune and suffering on others. Because if something does happen, we will carry that guilt around with us.
I wish your H a speedy and successful recovery. You and your H have my condolences. I am sorry his happened to him.

Hospitals are full of sick and dying children, these kids are innocent, so I don't believe in Karma in the way you are presenting it. What you are describing is more like Voodoo. I don't believe in that either, but I do have a pin cushion doll with the ow's name on it . . .that was a joke room, please don't comment, that was a joke. I do promise to be nice.

Outsideofbox, You sooo funny! No joke! But seiruosly,Karma is more spiritual NOT so much physical. Please do not feel bad you had nothing to do with his accident.(unless you are a bad witch, in which case you take the chance of it coming back on you 3 fold.) I am sorry that has happened to your husband. I do believe in Karma and I also believe that another person can not wish it to happen. It is all within the individual person, what happens to them is a result of their own wrong doings. No one else has anything to with it.

I think I wrote this wrong, I didnt mean that I or anybody else causes someone else to have a bad thing happen to them by thinking bad thoughts. All I meant is that I dont think it is good for one to have negative thoughts like that.....

You Don't cause Karma. I do believe Karma just is. I believe its tied into God somehow. You know "vengenge is mine" and I leave it at that.So Yes I do believe in it.But No I don't think we cause/control it.Its not your fault. I wish your husband a speedy recovery.
