This is my first post.
I found out 8 months ago that my husband had started an affair with a mutual acquaintance over a year before. To add to it, their affair lead them into a lot of experimentation with 3somes, and BDSM groups, etc., so he's actually been unfaithful with more than than her.
He tried to break it off with her about 3 months prior to my finding out, and she didn't take it well. Long story short, she sent photos of the 2 of them to my adult children, hoping that if she could "out" the whole situation, it would end the marriage and she could get him back.
My husband was/is devastated. He ended up hospitalized for depression, and is still in treatment.
We're coping as a family, but I'm wondering how long it takes for the anger to go away, or at least get to the point where I don't fantasize several times a day about ruining her life. I'm not a vindictive person, but somehow, involving my children in this mess is the epitome of unforgiveable.

I loved the idea of writing a letter that won't be sent. I think I'll utilize that option for now. Hopefully once the eviction is finished, her occupancy in my head will start to fade too.
While I'm angry at my husband also, and know we have sooooo much work to do to A) figure out how we got to this point and B) fix it, I'm angrier at her. She brought my KIDS into this. She brought my NEIGHBORS and FRIENDS into this. She's vicious.
I told him that before it was all over, I was likely going to punch him square in the face, just once, just to get it out of my system. He told me he'll take that punch anytime.
I digress into my rambling pissed-off-ness..... what I meant to say was just "thank you" for the support.
