Infidelity Support Group
Any relationship in which one partner engages willfully in sexual relations with another outside of the partnership is considered to have experienced infidelity. This breach of trust is often traumatizing for the faithful partner as well as the relationship, and support is often needed to heal emotionally and to decide whether or not the relationship should continue after...
Anyway, I think that some space will do you both good. Don't let him accuse you of things. I know it's hard but stand up for yourself. Tell him that you love him and he has to have trust in you. I don't know what you've lied about. It's not cheating and that's a good thing but try to not tell him any more 'stories'. Ask yourself this, would you get angry or bothered at him if he lied to you about the things you lie to him about. Try to always ask yourself that question. Would I like it if he did that to me? It does help in my case.
Hang in there. Have fun at college. These are the best years for you. You need to enjoy them and not worry.
Hugs!!!
Why would you stay with a cheater that is constantly suspicious of you? There's better men out there. Better yet - hold off on the serious relationship until you have your degree. I waited until I was 22 and didn't regret that decision since I had those 4 years to be free and have adventures.
I went to college with a boyfriend and broke up with him for my husband...and I do believe even after what he did it was worth it...and fyi the boyfriend I broke up with who sounds just like yours never made anything of himself and is still unstable.
Don't go to college with a monkey already on your back!
Hugs - T
I think this guy sounds very insecure. He has already cheated before- I am not sure how long you two have been together, but let me tell you my feeling about not being married and having the other person cheat. IT'S NOT WORTH STAYING WITH THEM. If they are behaving that way before a more serious commitment, like marriage, they will not respect the marriage either. If you accept it now, he will see you as a doormat and respect you less.
He sounds very controlling as well. It's none of his business what you are wearing to the financial aid office and he shouldn't have a problem with you wearing make-up. He needs to grow up!
If he keeps accusing you of cheating, chances are HE is cheating. I don't know why but so often cheaters do that.
He basically sounds like an untrustworthy, controlling seflish guy who needs to do a lot of growing up before being in a serious relationship. You are a young girl and beautiful and can do so much better. Get rid of him and start college fresh with no worries. Find someone who is worth your time and who respects you!
