I was in love with a married guy for almost 2 years and the wife knew me as a friend. The guy came to stay with me for 5months in my house when his wife went away and she was aware of it. He begged me for accommodation when he was kicked out of his apartment after failing to pay rent.
Then when he moved out he asked me to move in with him in his new apartment. Then two weeks later his wife came back and stayed with us. She didn't suspect anything coz she thought we were just friends. Then recently we had a serious fight that involved the police and that's how she got to know that we were in love and that I just had an abortion. Now I'm homeless and the guy is saying u caused problems in my marriage I don't want u in my house I want to try and fix my marriage. When I moved in with him he begged me to stay with them coz they didn't have any furniture so he promised me i will be out after a month or two but it ended up being 3 months. He withdrew all my money from my bank ACC coz I was trusting him and gave him my bank cards and pin numbers. Now I'm suffering. I'm waiting for our court date but he says I'm not paying back that money cause u wanted to break my marriage. They are back together and as stupid as I was, I'm heartbroken and left without money and all my furniture in his house. He played me.
I don't know wat kind of a man he is who would let a girlfriend stay in his house with his wife and kid. We would go out whole day and she could cook for us. Poor woman I feel for her but I'm also hurt and I know I was so stupid to fall for this man. How do I solve this
I'm no expert, but I think it's important for you to recognize and accept that this man may not have EVER had neither yours or his wife's best interests at heart. It's pretty cruel of him to wreck both of your lives through his own personal selfishness, in my opinion. I do hope, for the sake of your emotional well being, that you don't intend to reunite romantically with him. I fear it would only lead to your own betrayal (worse than this one). Perhaps it is best to cut off ties after you situate your financial problems. Take time to heal and grow from this for yourself.
Perhaps apologize to the wife somehow? I hope you find some form of calm after this storm.
