Hi everyone. This is my first time posting. My husband had a short-lived affair in June. He told me about it on June 30th, one week before our 5-year wedding anniversary. Anyway, after a ton of work put in by the both of us, we were starting to move forward towards a path of rebuilding our marriage. I am in no way saying we were over anything, or that everything was fine, or anything like that. But we were making some progress. I wasn't even thinking about the affair. It was a wonderful feeling.

Then I found out I was pregnant with baby #2 in the middle of August. We were both ecstatic. The reason this is kind of bad is because after a few weeks, those horrifying visions of the two of them together slowly crept back into my head. It was every now and then. Then it progressed into everyday. Then I was bawling about it every single day non-stop. I'm convinced it's because of my hormones, and I decided to go into therapy (have only been there twice so far because of scheduling/money/insurance issues). Well it's still as if every day I'm reliving that awful moment when he confessed everything to me. It's like my heart and my head are right back to that day. I can't quit thinking about the affair.

Can anyone give me any advice on ways to help improve myself besides therapy? I'm sorry if this sounds silly but I have no one to talk to other than the therapist. We didn't tell anyone else. I don't know what to do.
