Friends and family don't usually want to keep hearing about the problems and pain of infidelity; I think it may unnerve some people actually!
Here you can feel safe as we all understand how infidelity affects people. People who have not experienced betrayal can empathise but don't understand just how destructive it is and what it does to a person's mind.
