All last week there were articles in the news about this time of the year being the saddest due to the fact that the holidays are over, bills are coming in, and the short days. I got to thinking about my situation and my H began his EA in late December but it really cranked up by January to where I was noticing things were off. I wonder if the "sad" season was a time when more A's got started. Just curious.

What time of the year did your spouse or you start the EA or PA?

Well that theory got blown out of the water. Spring seems the more typical time. I guess that is when the birds and the bees get busy and obviously humans too.

Maybe we should pool together some funds and run ani-affair public service announcements across the country each spring.

My H had 4 affairs. So it didn't matter to him what time of year it was.

EA started in Feb, PA started beginning of Sept, ended at the end of Oct.

My H affair started in November or early December. It ended at the end of January or very early February. I know the "feelings" for her were there before November, but I think that is when the physical stuff started.

My H met the OW at the beginning of March 2011, they were sleeping together starting March 20th, and the EA part of it snowballed through to dday, when I confronted him on August 9th. The last time they were together was August 31st. The last time he contacted her and established NC for good was Sept. 23rd.

Since the whole thing is still denied, the best I can guess is that it began late May and we separated Sept that year.

I found out in late feb and he said it had been going on about 6 months. That would make it around Sept.

First one started in Oct and ended in Dec, but only because he moved away. It was primarily and EA that ended with a BJ right before he left town. I'm sure if he'd stayed around, they would have had sex eventually.

Second one, not counting the online sex chat partners that lasted from Feb to May, started toward the end of March and ended in mid-May when I found out.

I thought for a long time my H's EA started at the end of March, you know spring, new beginnings, but discovering newer info she was writing to him 5 mnths earlier. So I suppose Fall to Fall.

EA began sometime in the summer-email contact began around July/August and PA began in Oct.
