right, so much as been tainted. You don't need to let him make you feel bad, and shame on him for trying.
What has helped me is actually spending more time with my H. Are there grandparents who can take the kids for a weekend? Maybe a
friend could take them for a sleepover?
Try telling him you need to have him reinforce his commitment to you.
Don't let him tell you he's doing all he can. Let him know that it was like an earthquake that destroyed your world and it takes time to rebuild.
If you can, take time for just you. too. Has school started yet? Can you have a day just for you? Sometimes just changing the channel in your brain works wonders.
