Infidelity Support Group
Any relationship in which one partner engages willfully in sexual relations with another outside of the partnership is considered to have experienced infidelity. This breach of trust is often traumatizing for the faithful partner as well as the relationship, and support is often needed to heal emotionally and to decide whether or not the relationship should continue after...
Never heard of this so I checked around online. For kids, it's one thing. For adults, it seems to be pretty much, hands down, an STD.
What an asshole.
Sending you support, L~
Sorry for ANOTHER trigger.
It's 'possible', he did not catch this from sexual contact.
However, based on his history.....I too would doubt it.
Oh.....if he did get this sexually....it would not have been 1.5 years ago. The lesions show up sooner.
I have never had an A, been married 10 years, and I had a lesion 2 yrs ago the doc insisted was HPV- a serious permanant STD. turns out, after recieving the lab results, i had a common skin tag caused by loose fitting clothes rubbing the skin(I had lost weight) and when the skin is trying to repair, it keeps getting rubbed of so the body produces an extra thick skin there, similar to a callous. the pamphlets sent home are informational only until the lab results are in!
My misdiagnosis caused 2 weeks of mistrust and arguments. not to mention several months later, a new doc tried to tell me i had PID caused by clymidia, which ive never had, and that the PID was causing stomach pains i was having. turns out i had a twisted colon, and the test results for PID and clymidia came back negative. BTW the test for PID is very painful as it involves scraping of cells from the uterus, done cervically, and most ins will not cover anesthisia for the procedure.
Wait for the LAB results before jumping to conclusions, and definately make sure u get checked out for common STD's regardless of his assurances. sometimes the docs actually do get it right, and u and the H probably need to confront some issues regardless!

The thing that makes me more believe he was unfaithful is, if he truley did not do anything, why did he not think maybe I was unfaithful!? ( I wasn't but he has not even thought of that)
Excellent point.
However.....did he do research to discover that this is usually sexually transmitted?
Or....did he simply go to the doctor....who may have said this can be contracted via a pool or locker.....
If he googled it first.....before the doc........then one would imagine that he would suspect you of being unfaithful.
My H swears there was no physical contact between him and OW with the exception of a kiss. I still requested he go get tested for everything under the sun which he did and it all came back negative. He chose to go to PP so not to have to face his family doctor.
After reading a couple posts on this board today I am so glad I did ask and he complied.
The only resaon he did not tell me was becasue he wanted to have information from the doctor first before getting me all thoughts out of controll. Considering that we are rebuilding our marriage , so I would have been alittle crazy.
now since u know he has it, get urself checked out too! and if u have kids that swim in the pool or use "communal" family towels, watch them for lesions too.
