Hello all,
I completed my first clomid treatment on feb 6! I was on dat 5-9 dosage. My husband and I are fairly excited because all of our infertilty tests came back normal. So we're hopeful that clomid and timed intercourse will end our infertility struggles. Been doing some reading online and I'm confused about when I will ovulate and how clomid will influence my cycle. I know every woman is different, but any advice would be great! Thanks everyone!

When I took clomid( 6 cycles) and when I did ovulate it typically was around days 12-16. It totally varies especially if you have irregular cycles. In terms of influencing your cycle it is supposed to induce your ovulation so that you would ovulate around the average cycles( days 14-16). I even heard of cases in which some women ovulate on CD 20 and above. I would suggest if not already began charting bbt and also using opk (either kits or strips its your preference). Make sure that you track your ovulation no matter what method you chose to ensure that you are actually ovulating. I found that some of the cycles I did not ovulate.

I just finished my 5th round of Clomid. Like parsley said, everyone is different, but in 4 of my rounds with clomid, I ovulated 11 days after my last pill. And one round I did not ovulate at all. I didn't check my bbt, but I did use the opk and started those a couple days after my clomid ended. Good luck!!! Have you felt any different from the clomid? My ovaries started hurting really bad, so bad that riding in the car over bumpy roads was terrible. I felt like they were going to fall out. The pain usually started a couple days before I would ovulate. I always imagined that if I could see them, they would be red and angry

I was/am on the same cycke days as you. The doctors tell you you should ovulate between 5-10 days after your last pill. Hence start having intercourse 5 days after your last pill. Everyone's Boyd is different and i would echo the other ladies with getting an ovulation kit. It usually takes the boys 2-3 months to adjust to a clomid cycle. Best of luck!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
