Hey Ladies,
I need your advice. I know everyone is different but I would love to hear what you would recommend. I have an appt. on Monday with my RE to discuss what is next for us. We have unexplained infertility, TTC 26mo, not one bfp, used OPK, acupuncture + herbs and fertility diet, baby asprin, temp charting (yes I'm ovulating every month), IUI w/o meds (1), IUI w/ femara + trigger (1), IUI w/ femara + gonal F + trigger (1 or 2 - can't remember). HSG - normal, FSH and AMH normal, Thyroid- normal, BMI - normal, SA and motility - good w/ excellent count, saline ultrasound - uterus didn't want to open up the normal amount. The only thing that seems to be off is my lining is always thin and even with the meds and the herbs and the asprin it doesn't seem to want to get past 7.5mm. Usually it's around a 6-6.5 when I have had my pre-trigger ultrasounds. My mother also had very short periods but had no trouble getting pregnant.
My RE didn't think I needed to get a LAP because I don't have painful periods or other signs of endo, but I do occasionally have pain w/ intercourse and he is willing to do one.
Would you all suggest a LAP? Have you had endo found when there were no other signs other than infertility issues?
I think our options from here are possibly one more IUI with only injections, and then it's on to IVF depending on what our insurance will cover. I really want to do IVF as a last option but what do you all think? I really don't want a failed IVF because I didn't get a LAP if I do actually have endo.

I would also suggest that while you are out, do a hysteroscopy so they can look in your uterus better too. Even if they find nothing, you will have that peace of mind before moving onto IVF.
If you're going to make the leap to IVF, I'd follow LMWTs advice. I've never had one but we are MF- and we did IVF. If I were you, I'd want to know everything before I went forward...
