pretty much it. I took the summer off (tho I still tried naturally) from IF treatments after my miscarriage in the spring. I am back to the gym, feeling good and ready to move forward again.
somedays im hopeful, somedays im indifferent, and other days I'm sad.
all in all i tell myself to JUST KEEP SWIMMING!
My husband (who is super supportive) and my faith keeps me going!
I have to believe that my day id coming soon:-)
I'm also working on being positive and not so sarcastic!! who wants a sarcastic mommy anyway:-)
Someone once asked a runner why he was a long distance runner. The man replied," because I am able to. Someday I will not have the ability to."
I guess I am TTC because I am able to now, but that will not always be the case. I do not want to look back in regret wishing I had done something before it is too late.
I met my bf almost a year ago after both of us had failed marriages. It was truly a miracle that I met someone so wonderful that loves me with all my faults and loves my daughter like his own.
We are doing fertility treatments because he and his ex wife could not conceive and we have been trying for 5 months with no success. We are both getting older and I don't want to waste any time. Sorry that was totally off topic, lol!
Anyway, I just have faith in a higher order, not necessarily God, but something. And know that if I was given this gift of a good man than there is nothing standing in my way to keep the good luck rolling. Or is it luck? Who knows.
Staying positive is one of the hardest things that I do in a day, but with my bf always staying strong for me it makes it so much easier. And from what I've heard you ladies have amazing partners as well, so in that sense we are all very lucky!
Having a logical, technical plan and making it fit our individual needs, capacity for pain and other emotional considerations as well as our budget.
And sticking to that plan while allowing it to be flexable to any new situation we enter into.
That's what's kept me going.
Even during this pregnancy, I'm now 18wks and we've had a hell of a ride on the pregnancy risks and testing options.
I honestly don't know if I can do another IVF.
But at the moment we're hoping to do one more after this pregnancy is over.
But, we'll have to see at the time, there's no way of knowing how anything will turn out.
