Venting-Making Excuses?

I don't know if anyone else feels the same way, but I am tired of having to make an excuse as to why I'm not pregnant yet. At first I always told people we were waiting because we were newly married, then we moved and I was finishing school. Now when people ask me what I'm waiting for, or to not wait to long because I will run out of time, I want to cry and walk away. I don't even know what to say anymore. Im a private person, I don't think everyone needs to know what's going on. How does everyone else deal with the constant questions from friends, family and strangers ??

You guys are all great! 2016 was supposed to be my year too! Someone asked me recently, and I said well "Since I am not pregnant, we probably have not been doing it the right way all this time and require a manual."Well that shut them right away! My husband, a hockey player made a joke recently to someone that he cant' sneak one past the goalie! In all our frustration you have to keep your sense of humor. If you don't laugh you will cry right? 2017 will be our year! Xoxo

I have the same thing going on in my life. Between my large family, all of my friends and all 15 ladies I work with they all harp on me having a baby! If they would only know! My sister can blink and become pregnant! Anyway, I am laughing at Sageeyedgirl's response! I love it! My mother-in-law is a private person and thankfully has never asked any questions. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for a lady I work with. She had the nerve to tell me that my ovaries are going to shrivel up if I don't start having babies. I simply looked at her and said "Well maybe we are getting it in the wrong hole?" She turned beat red and went sit down. Needless to say she never brought it up again! I wish people would realize it's no ones business. XOXO ladies! This will only make us stronger!

For me I'm pretty straight forward about all of it.. TTC 2 yrs. PCOS, septated uterus, and endometriosis. I told the people closes to me. I have a pretty good relationship with my husbands mom. So no really ask me that question. But my husband has 2 sets of family like 50% of America and I'm not so Familiar with his dads side. And when they ask I get straight up anxiety and I feel the back of my neck turn red hot. Finally my husband said we have challenges ahead of us. Gosh that hurt. To be the one causing the challenges. Sorry I'm keeping your eldest son from being a dad.. I don't really like telling people what is going on then they tend to give you the most obvious advice: Just have sex a lot, don't stress, and my favorite don't try to hard! Grrrrrrr I want to hurt people like. You don't think I'm having sex??????!!! How in the hell do I not stress about something I want most on life. Don't try to much? Maybe we shouldn't try at all will that make you happy!? Maybe I should demonstrate with a raw egg. This carton on eggs is a normal ovary.. *throws carton on floor* this here now carton of eggs smashed all over your floors is my ovaries! That'll teach em'!
