Hi, I just wanted to share my story in case it can help anyone else. My husband and I started trying for a baby when I was 28. We of course didn't even think we would have a problem conceiving. A year later, nothing. So we went to an RE my obgyn suggested. He ran every test under the sun and said nothing can be found, relax, and come back in 6 months if you aren't pregnant. 6 months past, and nothing. So we tried an iui. Didn't work. I tried OPKs for two years. 7 years later.....after being told I ovulate from previous tests, and countless OPKs, I asked my regular physician if we could try Clomid. He said if I already ovulate it wont help but he would prescribe it. I got pregnant on my first round of clomid after 7 long frustrating years. So apparently all the tests that said I was ovulating, must have been wrong. Maybe the hormones were present to show positves for ovulation, but the egg wasn't actually being released. Its worth a shot if you have unexplained infertility. When I finally got my positive I stared it at for 5 minutes in shock then just broke out in tears. I hope this can at least help someone, whether you try clomid or are in a different situation, DONT GIVE UP HOPE!!! I never thought it would happen for me and even though I am early in my pregnancy (only 5 weeks) I am optimistc. It was the first positive I have ever had.
