I love this idea! I am not pregnant, but whenever I read a BFP post I always look to see what they did. If they did the same thing I am doing, it gives me hope...Thanks

I am scared to say I am pregnant because last IVF attempt I lost twins. So carefully I am saying I am pregnant. Yesterday my BETA was 174 and I am going in tomorrow to see if it has gone up. I had to 6 day blasts transfered, but I tested 5 days before end of 2ww. This is my third round with IVF ours was male factor from a vasectomy. I did no lupron and mass amount of STIM drug and got 14 follies and now there are none to freeze because we waited for them to try to turn to blasts. I of course am still on IM shots and pray it will all be ok.

i am 30 weeks 5 days today. i conceived with gonal-f injections. thankfully i didn't have to do an iui b/c my DH test results were off the charts. it was just me that has problems. we got our bfp on the first round of injections. although we tried clomid for a long time and it didn't work one bit. good luck to everyone else, baby dust...

I am new to the group and am having trouble figuring out some of the abbreviations: BFP, BFN, IUI, 2ww (2 weeks waiting??). Could you help me with this? Thanks!

I'm also nervous about saying the words "I'm pregnant"... but I got a BFP on Tuesday. I had done four rounds of Clomid, have taken metformin since January, did two IUIs... with this last cycle I did acupuncture the evening before IUI - it totally relaxed me and I feel like it did make a difference!

Also a LOT of prayer! =)

I am 15 weeks pregnant with twins. It took us four tries of IVF before we got our BFP. We started out with male factor and after our third attempt failed they biospied by uterus lining and found it was inflammed. After two weeks of strong antibiotics it was cleared. I was on lupron, Gonal-F, and progestrone for my final cycle

I was on 50mg of CLomid cycle day 5-9 and my 3rd month I concieved and am now 32w4d with a healthy baby boy.

Let's see. We started with Clomid (only one or two rounds). From there it was two IUI's with Tamoxifin (similar to Clomid). After that, One IUI with Gonal-F & Menopur. Then, one IUI with Bravelle & Menopur. All of these attempts brought us BFN. We were just about to begin our testing for IVF in April, our last BFN had been in Feb, and what do you know, we found out on March 13th that we were pg on our own!!!

I am now officially 18 weeks today. :D

Don't lose hope, ladies. You never know when or how your BFP is coming.

I am 5 weeks today and have been off birthcontrol for 7 years. DH and I have been ttc for 1.5 yrs with no luck on our own. We decided to go the route of IUI. My gyne actually did it in her office. I felt that it was a bit early to do it b/c my LH hadn't even surged yet. Needlesstosay it was a failure. We decided to give it another go and I felt much more confident this time. My father was here visiting and everything with the procedure went perfect. I was on 50mg of clomid the first iui and 100mg of clomid the second. I had the HCG trig the day before the procedure on both. I started cramping as I was going to get AF but she never came! I was supposed to test on a friday but I decided to wait until sunday as I was too scared to see a bfn. I tested sunday and used a cheapie and got a faint pink second line. Not enough to convince me so we got a dig. and it def. said PREGNANT! Good luck to all you ladies and I hope this helps.

Endo. and low sperm count are our problems. We did try for 10 months before going to see an RE.
June 07 - IVF #1 - BFP, but sadly miscarried at 8.5 weeks, after seeing a strong heart beat at 6 and 7 weeks!
Oct. 07 - IVF #2 - BFN
Jan. 08 - Surgery to remove Endo.
March 08 - IUI #1 - BFN
May 08 - IVF #3 - BFP
I am 6 weeks pregnant today. I am excited, and very anxious in the same time!

I had tubal issues and ectopics (lost tubes) so I had to do IVF. I had done accupuncture with previous clomids cycles and it worked once, but it was ectopic. Did not do accu with IVF, but got a massage every other week during cycle. IVF cycle #1 worked. am now 34 weeks PG.
Also took metformin during both clomid and IVF and ate less sugar and carbs.

Our issue was endo. After years of trying and going to the same obgyn over and over I finally decided to go and see a RE. On my first visit he saw that I had ovarian endo and said IVF was basically my only option. We tried one round of IVF and got a BFN, we tried another round of IVF 7 months later and got a BFP. I also had massages with energy work once or twice a week for the whole 2nd cycle. We also added a growth hormone because I have poor egg quality. I am 6w 1d today and I go monday to hear the heartbeat. Don't ever give up hope.

Hi ladies! I'm 10 weeks and STILL weary to say that we are pregnant! I guess it's hard for me not to be nervous since we have had so much negativity associated with IF in general!

We had been trying for 4 years, 3 failed IUI's (no reason) and were fortunate enough to get a BFP for our first IVF!
It was spooky though. I only had 12 follicles retrieved and only 8 of those follicles had eggs inside. We thankfully listened to our ER who recommended that we do half ICSI and half non-ICSI with the eggs and boy are we glad that we did! He had an incling that there was something up with my egg quality and it appeared that there was. Out of the four eggs that were non-ICSI, NONE of them fertilized on their own! Out of the other four that were ICSI ALL of them fertilized! I don't know what you call that disorder where your eggs are resistant to sperm, but I'm thinking that might be me!
Anyhow, only two of the fertilized eggs were healthy enough to implant. Luckily, one of them took!
The moral here is that we faced roadblocks and bad news throughout that whole IVF process (follicle numbers were low for my age (32), egg was resistant to sperm, non leftover to freeze, and only one fertilized egg was "great" the other was just "good") and it still worked.
Have faith, no matter where you are in the process. God can work miracles even when things seem bleak!

PS Still taking it one day at a time at this end!

PCOS was our main issue, did 2 rounds of clomid at 50 mg and nothing, 2round at 100mg and still nothing, and 2rounds at 150mg and still nothing, took a break for about 4months and started metformin. then in November i had a prescription of clomid left so I just took it on days 3-7 at 150mg and low and behold it worked!!! We are now 30weeks & 2days with a little girl!
