Thank you! I have been dreading it too. I wrote a journal entry about it the other day. I feel so guilty for hating mother's day because I do have a wonderful mother to celebrate with. I just find it sad that I can't celebrate it as a mother.

Thanks! This is a really hard time, another yearly marker. I try to avoid places - like church - where people sometimes wish others Happy Mothers' Day" without really knowing if you are a mother or not...and try to focus on my own mothers.

I just want to celebrate all of you fabulous, caring women. When I think of Mother's Day, I remember this Russian woman I met while working at Hallmark. She was in around Mother's Day, and shared how in Russia they have something similar but it is called Women's Day. It is the day for celebrating all things woman and all women. They have the same for Men vs Father's Day. I secretly remember this all through the Mother's Day weekend and celebrations.
