Was your iui medicated? I tested 4-5 days early and got a positive. The nurse did get on to me though because I could have had a false positive if the medicine had not left my system yet. I didn't tell her that I had tested 2 days earlier and got a negative so I knew my positive was real. I now have the cutest, most rotten 3 1/2 year old son. Good luck to you.

yes i did injections and the trigger shot. the nurse i work with always tells me not to test before hand because the home pregnancy tests are not as reliable like blood work. but i am not sure that i can wait that long again.

I tested 10 DP Ovidrel and got a false positive..... I had calculated out the half rate of the drug and everything. Now I know it's a bad idea to test at home :(

I too always ended up with a false positive if I tested too early. It's the trigger that creates it.

my blood work isn't until the 10th. i know this coming weekend i will drive myself crazy thinking about doing it. My Ovidrel was on sept 25 and iui on the 26th. so i wasn't sure how long ovidrel stay in your body. i have had cramps everyday since the iui but had this before several times and got BFN. so the cramps can be anything. This is our last hope until we go to IVF.
