Soooooooooooo normally i am a very private person.... i mean i didnt even tell my immediate family (mom and sisters) i was having problems concieving until well into the process. And some of my cousins are just now finding out this year!
I just started this new job about 4 months ago and the ladies i work with for the most part are very down to earth. Maybe its the fact that we are all therapist that i felt it would be ok, but over lunch the topic of babies came up. One co-worker (lets call her L)makes the joke that if she ever comes to work tired she wont say anything cause the other co worker (lets call her M) will say she preggo. so we all laugh. L says i told you i cant have anymore kids. then she looks at me and says "dont ever say your tired infront of M, sh will swear you are about to have a baby" I said "well that would be a welcome miracle" she of course says what do you mean....
So i told them, my MD isnt sure if i can have kids, my body doesnt do all that it should etc etc they were very sympathetic. L who has 3 kids already (her oldest are twin boys age 24) asked if i would do a surragate or adopt. M who is in her late 40's maybe early 50's says that she is also infertile, and found out when she was trying to get pregnant with her husband.
over all it was a good moment.....

Nelly I agree that being open is easier than I thought it would be. In my mind I was soooooo sure people would look at me like I did something to cause this but for the most part it's been ok. People say stupid things because they want to help (u kno "stop trying and it will happen" comments) . One of my cousins is pretty supportive.ican call her when I'm having a moment. I'm over carrying around this dirty lil secret of IF....... If ppl say something about me having a baby I just tell Them the deal cause it will prevent future statements...
