I just finished a round of injectibles with TI, on my day 3 ultrasound they found that I have large cysts on both sides. I am now taking BCP for 2 weeks in hopes of them decreasing in size. If it works I could start the injectibles again next week.
My husband thinks I should continue to take the BCP for the final week, let AF arrive and then restart. He believes that the extra week will give my body a little more rest from all the drugs and the mental stress as well.
Part of me agrees, but there is the part that does not want waste the extra 2 weeks.
Do anyone have any advice or opinons?

The month I was to start injections, nurse found a HUGE cyst so I had to sit out the entire cycle. It was 49 days!!! Talk about waiting!
But through it all, it was nice to take a break mentally and physically from TTC w/ all the meds. I had been taking Clomid for 3 cycles prior and my AF was always very thin. But w/ a natural AF it was back to normal. Sometimes I think our bodies need the rest - to find balance. DH and I are thinking of sitting out this cycle now b/c of travel plans and family visiting. I want a baby - DESPERATELY - but I also want to still enjoy my life on the journey.
Whether you continue the injections or not this cycle, just remember that even a break can be part of the process...and may be needed to get you to a baby. Best of luck!
