But, I would suggest you contact your insurance company to find out for sure what they will and will not cover. Also, I am not sure what the surrogates insurance company will cover for them or if you have to pay all or some of their medical fees during pregnancy and delivery. You may want to look into the laws surrounding using a surrogate in your state. I remember someone on here once telling me that their surrogate lived in NY but was going to NJ to give birth (or vice versa) to avoid the adoption issue.
