I am 12dpo today. BFN on the HPT over the weekend, but I know it is still early so I'm not overly upset by that. I starting having some brownish pink spotting on Sunday, but it was most definitely brownish pink and not the dark red AF color. It was light, but fairly consistent on Sunday. This morning there was a very tiny spot. I haven't gone back to the bathroom so I don't know if I am still spotting. Could be AF starting could be implantation bleeding....so I still know nothing. I do have a random question though. What happens if you start AF so you start your next round of treatment, but you are PG? I know women can have AF and still be PG. I mean my RE does a baseline u/s before starting treatment, but what if it is too early and a yolk sac and such are not present yet? Will the Follistim (this is what I take) hurt a pregnancy? I know the chances of this happening are slim, but it is something I have always wondered. I guess I am just trying to think about things other than the last 5 days of this wait. If AF hasn't shown up by Friday I will have a BETA done then. Thanks for listening to the incoherent thoughts of a crazy lady.

I would think that the doctor would do tests before starting you on any new meds. I think it is good that you are going to have a BETA done to be 100% sure.

this has nothing to do with me inparticular. i haven't even started AF yet, this was more one of those hypothetical what if questions that is applied to everyone going through IF. I mean if it take 5-6 weeks for a yolk sac to show up and you had a full blown AF many doctors will not perform a BETA. so i was just curious

I asked my RE the same question a few month's back and she said that she would be able to tell that something was odd by the lining of your uterus. She would then do a preg test. But she did say that it's very rare to have a period while preg... spotting yes, but not a full flow cycle. Good luck to you!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
