Does anyone have days of spotting before their period? I have had that problem for a few years, and have been ttc with no luck for 11 months. My doctor thinks it may be polyps. I am going to have a laparoscopy done at the eng of June.

Hi,
I always spot before my period comes, ever since I went off the pill in April of 2005.
I don't know if it's a sign of something bad, but when I told my RE he didn't seem too concerned. Mine may be related to my PCOS, who knows?

Back in 1999 I did have some spotting issues and with the help of an ultrasound they found a polyp in my uterus. A D&C took care of the problem and a month later I did conceive. I don't know if that will help or not, but with me and my ex it seemed to be the only problem.

How many days b4 are you spotting I have done a lot of reading. some people beleive that could be you actually ovulating. I am not sure how accurate it could be but a thought. Good Luck

I sometimes spot for a couple of days before my period. At first I would get all excited thinking it was implantation spotting, but it wasn't. The polyp thing is interesting. Maybe I will go have that checked out.
