We had done an IUI with 6 follicles 2 weeks ago, doctor said the odds that i would get pregnant were very good. Prayed since then that just 1 would take. I just wanted 1. AF arrived just before midnight. Don't know how I am going to handle starting over again this month. This being my best shot and still nothing. Feeling very sad and tomorrow being Mother's Day. Just want to give up on it all. Seems like no matter what I do it just isn't going to happen for me.

Please don't give up. Your miracle will happen. I had 6 IUI and 4 IVF until I had my baby boy. There was a lot of times when I just wanted to give up, but a little voice inside my head keep telling me to keep going and so I did. Just take a break, have your favorite food, get manicure and go to the move. You and your body just need a little break. You can do it. Good Luck.

I'm so sorry! What horrible timing, too. Remember that it is okay to feel sad right now. Treat yourself well, especially today. None of us ever know when we'll get our turn. For some of us, it takes a lot more work, patience, and heartache along the way. Just know that you can get through this. Keep praying! Maybe you are not a mommy yet, but you will be!

I had to take a pregnancy test today, and I did and of course it was negative! So I am completely empathetic to your to situation. This day is already hard enough. Stay strong.

Thank you for your support. Was doing ok for the most part until yesterday when my 8 year old niece was helping me make dinner and asked me why my husband wasn't a daddy. She didn't know her simple question just broke my heart. Every month it hurts to have to tell him again. So after a moment away, I put my happy face on again and finished dinner and made sure when it was time for her to give her gifts to her mommy and grandmother I went to get the dessert.

This morning came to work and listened to others discussing their Mother's Day and what their kids did for them. It still hurts, but we will try again. Already called for my day 3 appointment with the doctor. Sometimes I feel like someone who has a gambling addiction except instead of money I'm betting the odds on a baby.
