My DH was out cutting the grass... he comes in 1/2 way done all sweaty and says, "hurry up, go look on the porch." I go to the porch and there is a teeny little baby bunny sitting there all scared of the lawn mower. It must of jumped up when it heard the noise... so adorable- it made my day!

Last night when DF and I were "attempting" to mini-golf there was the cutest little chipmunk with a plump little pine cone in his mouth. He was darting around trying to make his way out with his treasure. He dropped it on one of the putting greens and debated going back for it. There was a bunch of kids near by and you could tell he was not sure. Unfortunately as he decided his treat was too good to pass up and started towards it, one of the little girls (maybe around 7 or 8) charged at him and scared him away. I put his little pine cone under the tree he ran up hoping he would come down and get it later in the evening.
Anyways, I am sorry the baby bunny got scared but glad he/she found a safe place on your porch to go. It is nice when something so little and what would seem such a small part of our day can make us smile and feel good. Thank you for sharing! :-)
