I just went through a horrible experience where not only did I lose the only pregnancy I ever had after three years of treatments, I also lost the ability to get pregnant. One of the girls I know had sent me a message on FB about how she understood my struggles and that her and her husband were having a really hard time getting pregnant. One week after my emergency surgery for the ruptured ectopic she announced she was pregnant. The next week she announced it was twins. As soon as I saw her pregnancy announcement I started sobbing. The twin thing just made me mad. She had no idea what I was going through and I hate that I can't seem to force myself to be happy for her. I wish she would have just left me alone about it and now it feels like she is shoving it in my with every "I'm pregnant, its so great" post. I know she isn't and she is just excited but it hurts. I can't wait until things like that don't bother me anymore. Sorry, I had to vent.
Would this friend understand how hurt and sad you are about your situation? I have 2 very close friends who just got pregnant without any struggle. One of them is very sensitive to my feelings and even appreciates the bitter comments I make about pregnant women because she understands where I'm coming from. The other friend I don't waste my time in explaining how I feel because she will never truly understand. I do hope that you have some friends that understand the hurt and pain you are dealing with. Focus on those people and draw support from them.
