Obviously whomever is telling you those fears will go away in a few months, has never experienced a pregnancy loss! Unfortunately those fears stick around, but you find a way to work through them.
I am not sure I ever really coped with my loss, I just finally started putting one foot in front of the other.
The best advice I got after my mc was to take as much time as I needed to mourn the loss. And feel whatever feelings I needed to feel whether that was sad, mad, throwing things, crying, staring at the wall. Anything. Once you have taken the time you need, the thought of moving forward again my not scare you as much.
I'm leaning on my hubby alot and trying to stay positive. The feeling will not go away, but will become dulled as you proceed. I'm not sure how I'm going to feel if we loose him/her this time as well.
Be kind to yourself and take time to process. I have found that talking with my therapist helps. She is a good third party to help me sort through things.
I am so sorry for your losses and all your TTC struggles! I have had 5 m/c's all at about 9 wks. and LMWT explained it perfectly you just have to go through it and feel all the emotions that come with it. But just know that it does get better and easier to deal with, just take it one day at a time and a little indulgence never hurts either!!
Also, I was told that early losses are almost always due to egg quality issues and I was tested for recurrent spontaneous abortion (horrid name, I know) but maybe if you mention spontaneous abortion to your RE you can get some additional testing done before you try again? - hugs! XO
