Saline ultrasound

Hey ladies. I'm having a saline ultrasound tomorrow and I was wondering if any of you have had this done and what I should expect
I've had the HSG and that was fine but they said the saline ultrasound could find different things with the ultrasound. Just wanting to hear others experiences. Also aside from the saline ultrasound and the HSG have you all had other things done to see if there are problems with your uterus?

It's like an extended pap smear, no big deal and really quick.

It's really not bad. I thought the HSG was way worse. My RE found a tiny (less then 1cm) polyp that I had removed back in July.

I had the saline u/s and it wasn't nearly as bad as the endometrial biopsy. I thought the HSG was less painful though. I'd recommend taking aleve beforehand. Good luck!

I was so nervous about the saline u/s. Esp. after the receptionist told me I didn't need to take a pain reliever ahead of time and then I get there and the u/s technician said....now this may be uncomfortable did you take a pain reliever/

Good news---it was not painful.
Just some mild cramping in my lower back for about 10-20 seconds....but like everyone here is saying....very fast....very uneventful overall. I did have some spotting the rest of the day. Very minimal.

Thanks for all the replys! I found that the HSG was more painful during the process but I had no cramping issues after. Unfortunately after this ultrasound this morning I am still having cramping and my uterus seems to be protesting all this poking and proding. It is very unhappy. I'm going to go take some advil.
