So my RE called today, My background is I have no tubes due to blockage, had them clipped (hydrosalpinx) I am young no known hormone problems and am pretty hopeful for IVF since our odds seem to be good. DH's semen was assessed as fine (borderline in some areas)

Anyway the RE rings to tell me latest semen analyses shows low count and low morphology and that we will have to have ICSI which increases odds of damage to eggs etc.... She was so fucking nonchulant about it!!! Bitch, really pissed me off!!! Not sure if the Lupron helped with the anger issues but she was so matter of fact, doesnt she know how important this stuff is.

I asked is there anything we can do to improve it?? ..."oh yes, you could try....." when was she gonna tell me this if i hadnt asked???

It gets better though, while she was on the phone I decide i'll ask if it matters that I am bleeding 6 days into Lupron??? Oh yes we will have to cancel the cycle if you keep bleeding.

She didnt know when my cycle was due to start, she asked me when I started on the lupron.......she rang me ffs doesnt she have my notes??

I told her my nurse said when I stop birth control and continue lupron I would have a period and that that was fine, yes she says but if you keep bleeding after that period then we will cancel the cycle. So then I'm likewell how do I know when I have to have stopped bleeding by???

She is Frikking useless.... I'm sur eshe knows what she's doing but she has the worst bedside manner and most of the crucial things she told me, she only told me because I asked!!!!

Grrrrr maybe its my hormones but i wanted to scream after this conversation.

Any words of encouragement would be much appreciated!!!
