how does everyones REs (doing IVF) measure their follicles? I've heard some say they want them to be over 12 or 13mm before ER and other on a scale of like 1-5 (no clue) I had an u/s this morning and have 20 follicles, but the biggest is only 2.6 on a 1-5 scale that means i'm almost there. on the bigger scale i'm not even close and my target date for ER was 10-4....saturday....just curious. I'll find out more when i call in for my b/w results this afternoon, just wondering.

Mine measures in mm too - average was 12 mm today and ideally they should grow 2mm per day. So he's estimating 4 more days until trigger (Sunday) - which would put them around 18-20mm at trigger - with ER estimated to be Tuesday 10/7 then.

P.S. My previous doc used to always say 16mm is borderline ready - 18mm is ready

My RE measures in mm. 18mm is the target. He let mine get to 19mm the last IVF. But 3 out of 5 of my eggs were immature. So he told me if I do IVF again he plans to let my follicles get to 20mm before ER.

I don't know about scales, mine measured mm's I want to say that millimiters but might be smaller micro-mill's...anyway like to see at least 2-3 at 18 or over then I was ready to tregger. They can grow really fast though and if you have 20 already you could go in tomorrow and bam! You're a heck of a lot closer to ET then you thought.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
