Ok ladies sorry if to much detail.

My doctor and i had a discussion about the best way to have sex while trying to get pregant. Of course all the research says man on top is the best way. He doesn't have an opion is what he said to me.

However my problem is that no matter what for some reason my husband won't finish that way. I have to be on top for him to finish. but i'm so scared of the sperm falling out ( sounds crazy i know) afterward i do get off him right away and lay flat on back back for like 20 mins or longer but is this what is not letting me get pregant.

What do you think this thought is just driving me crazy?

I'm not a doctor , but i don't think the position matters that much. the main thing is to lie on your back for 20 after, which you're doing. In my situation, I used to worry about the right position, but after going through if treatment and doing iui, now, I just think there are a lot of things that all have to be aligned perfectly to get that bfp. If the swimmers are good they're gonna get there.

Missionary or doggy are best is what my RE told me. Laying down for 15-20 minutes is the right thing to do, you can even put a pillow under your rump to help it a bit.

It doesnt really matter all the best swimmers get where they have to go pretty quickly.Thats why all these stupid teens get pregnant.

My re has said it doesn't 'fall out'
Try to rest on your back, w/legs up if you can.

I've heard so many ways and times and positions and temperatures and......you name it. There is a lot of stuff that comes out that is not sperm. Men have a crazy projectile velocity that shoots that stuff up in there. Definitely lay down afterwards for 10-15 to help them with the gravity situation.
My hubby is the same way, he has his "O way", which has been a challenge now that we're pregnant because my belly gets in the way. Are you sure you're ovulating, etc?

No i am not our appoinment is this wesd. again. About 18 months ago we found out i had a blocked tube with PCOS (it was to much and stop seekign treatment just going back now) when i took clomind i had successfull ovulations regularly other then that it's hhit and miss. The only good thing is that the last 9 months or so my period has been very regular almost to clock work. I just started charting and not sure if i am even doing it right. But haven't seen a spike in temp yet and i am already at day 15 of my cycle.
