I went to new RE today! She had started me on provera! She said it will help with my period I have had for 3 mths to end it! But research I have done on it says its to start your period! I trust this dr she is so nice and is a too infertility dr in us! She said once it ends to start my clomid! Help?

I used provera for the purpose of starting a period. It basically would fake ovulation and tell my body to bleed. I'm sure it has multiple uses. Glad the visit went well.

I don't have experience with it- my cycles have always been normal. But my sister was on BCP and her cycle was definitely messed up. She has used Provera 2-3 x to induce her period. The funny thing is, since she's been having fertility treatments done, her cycle has become regular again! Best of luck to you!

I had a bad cycle after my very first IUI in 2010. After CD75, my doctor started me on provera to help kickstart my period. It was explained to me that it works both to stop or start......just depends on the dosing. I was confused too but it did actually work for me to start up. Wishing you the best!!

That's ladies I started it this morning so I guess we shall see! Iam just scared ill miss the ending period for the start of the new period and want get to take my clomid

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
