I've been taking prometrium (progesterone suppositories) twice a day vaginally for about a week and a half now. Twice now, while at my desk at work, I've gotten sooo dizzy, to where I feel like my head is spinning and I get disoriented. This lasts for a few seconds. Has anyone else ever experienced this while on progesterone?

It's normal, it's the progesterone. Other progesterone symptoms:
constipation
achy breasts
cramping
etc.

Basically every pregnancy and AF symptom.

I wish you luck, I know there are only a few days to go, fingers crossed.

Thanks! I was starting to worry something was wrong with me then I thought it might be the progesterone (saw dizziness is a side effect but this was like major headspin!)

I get real dizzy and lightheaded on progesterone. The other symptom that's real bad for me is breast tenderness and cramps. They could all be symptoms of a BFP but I know now they are related to the progesterone.

Progesterone pills made me dizzy and I had pretty significant breast tenderness and constipation. You aren't alone! :)

I'm on the suppositories 3x a day too. Very gross. Also makes me feel nauseous. While I know this is because of the medication, it's still not fun to mess with women during a 2ww like that!

I also found that on progesterone I was soooooo tired all the time. And I was super tender because I could actually see my swollen ovaries. It was crazy uncomfortable. But, I'll be in for the suppositories in another week if all goes well with the egg retrieval and ET.

i hate them and they are disgusting. if my test is a BFP on the 18th, i have to keep using them for about 11 more weeks. they said no intercourse during the 2ww....welll maybe none the whole time i am on them lol because its just gross. poor hubby lol

We did suppositories for a week, then shots after that. I had side effects with both..cramping, constipation, sore breasts, dizziness, almost everything you could imagine. Fortunately, you don't have to continue progesterone forever!
