Probably a stupid Question . . .

I feel kind of dumb for asking this but here goes...I now only have a tube on my right side. So, I was wondering...what happens to the eggs when I ovulate on my left side? I have no tube for it to go into so where does it go?

hi,your question is not stupid at all,but i think what hapens to the egg is that your body reabsorbs it once you ovulate and it do not fertilize,it is so small,the size of the dot above the letter i,it makes it easy to your body to reabsorb it, the follicle in which the egg grows in is the one that is big.

Your eggs area always released into your abdominal cavity. It is the job of your tube to pick them up. So if they are not picked up they disintegrate in your body.

Okay so that's not a stupid question at all.

Not even I, the great self-torturing thinker had come up with that one.

But here's one I had come up with...
...is it possible to do a tubal transplant?
I know ovary transplants are rumourdly now possible.
And it just so happens that I'd rather not have any tubes as they cause me to get pregnant!!
yes, I wrote that right.
Natural pregnancies for me are 98% likely to end in miscarriage.
I'm really looking forward to the end of IVF and having my tubes tied so that we can try out this fabled honeymoon period that we've been robbed of.
