I use proactiv and it has helped. I just finished my first IVF and I have to say that even proactiv hasn't helped. I broke out ssssooooo bad. It's finally getting better but pre IVF it worked really good.

first off, I HATE HATE HATE when ppl use support groups to advertise products or services that they are selling. RUDE! Second, I too have always had bad skin. I did hear from my old OB that I had before my insurance changed that I could use anything topical for acne (something you use on your skin, not take internally) while you are TTC and preggo. I used to be on medications and such growing up. I use the "off brand" proactive, which is supposed to have all the same active ingredients and levels and such called AcneFree. It works sometimes and others I just have to suffer through. I am interested in the natural remedy of goat soap and witch hazel! I will have to try it! I too thought that my most recent breakout was due to a pregnancy, but I got a BFN. Boo!

I would be very careful with and leary of internal products such as proactiv - my sis took it for a while and now she has TONS of intestinal problems - similar to celiacs, yet different. She's done some reading and evidently proactiv has been linked to such intestinal issues.
