Preparing for IUI

So here I am waiting for my husband to get home to give me my hsg shot... TTC for 3 years have been battling female problems forever. But I seem to be lacking some of the wording everyone uses. I've had two months of clomid and the HSG shot and that didn't work so hopefully this month with the help of IUI we can get pregnant. I have never been so stressed out before and all of this makes it feel like a full time job to get pregnant.. Trying to stay positive but some people make it look so easy!

Good luck on your first IUI! I hope it goes well and you get some great news in 2 weeks.
I know what you mean about it feeling like work getting pregnant this way. Infertility is a side of life no one should have to know about. Best to you!

I know exactly what you mena! Not to mention trying to work fuul time to pay for all of this. I am having my first IUI this week as well. I get my trigger shot tomorrow followed by two days of IUI. Maybe we could wait it out together. Good luck.

Just take a deep breath and think positive thoughts. I know it's very hard to do. In fact, I couldn't my first two IUI cycles, but I would've liked to. Those people that make it look so easy are just really good at covering up the stress. It happens to all of us. Wishing you the best and sending out positive thoughts your way!

Its far from easy. I am going through my second IUI. The first one failed, which of course, stressed me out. I am trying to be more calm about this round. I am on clomid. Taking follistim injection on Thursday, back to the Dr for ultrasound on Saturday. IUI on either Monday or Tuesday.

Thanks everyone! Seems like guys have it so easy! So had my IUI this morning and now the to look forward to the most long two weeks of my life again! This is the fun part to not stress out or drive myself insane!

Lulu, good luck and yes we can wait this one through together might be nice to have someone that understands..... just feels sometimes a lot of people don't get it.
