Hello everyone!
First of all, it feels good to be back to such a great community! I have been away for awhile, taking about a nine month break from my first IVF. I am 43 yrs. old and I was 9 days late, so I got a HPT and took it three times and it said that I was pregnant each time. Then I go to my doctor and she suggests that I get my HCG tested, so I did. However, today, my period starts????? I haven't received my HCG results yet, but now I don't know what to think. Will I have to take another one and wait even longer - this is torture, even though it has only been a few days, it feels like eternity!!! I am definitely NOT getting excited, but I am thinking is God just trying to remind me that "See, I am in control!!!", whether it is yes or no. My emotions and thoughts are obviously all over the place and I just keep trying to be patient and know that it will all work out - whether now or later. However, I have to admit, that today when my period seemed to start, my heart dropped!!! I am so confused - please help! I would appreciate any suggestions or personal experiences.

If I had a guess it could be either a chemical pregnancy or you're experiencing implantation bleeding. Praying it is implantation!!!
