Not to give you false hope but I have heard of bleeding during the first few weeks of pregnancy. I am keeping a thread of hope alive for you that it is the case!
As far as the chemicals: I think it is a great sign you can get pregnant. I would suggest looking into PGD testing of the embryos to make sure there is nothing chromosomally wrong. They can actually pick out the perfect embryo before implanting it and you can even find out the sex then too! It's amazing what science can do. That way you could know for sure that the embryos you are using are genetically correct. You ahve to do IVF with this procedure though.
