There's some ladies in my community that are encouraging placenta encapsulation. Since I've been through drugs of IVF, is it still safe? Has anyone tried it and seen no results?

I have been doing encapsulation for 4 years , and have had a number of clients who had gone through IVF . Based on info given to one client in particular by her IVF specialist my understanding is that the IVF drugs are not harmful to the baby OR the placenta, which form at about the same time and rate. His attitude was," if you think it will help what have you got to lose? "
The results I have seen have been very positive. I particularly see the benefit in helping mums such as yourself that have had a more stressful time than usual to fall (and stay) pregnant to cope with the post partum recovery period.

I have no hard evidence or opinions on this for you. But maybe your RE would have some info? I guess my thought about it is if the meds were safe to take throughout the beginning of your pregnancy when the baby is the most vulnerable, I can't imagine it would be any more harmful in the encapsulation process. However, i have seen some studies done that show it doesn't have any added health benefits, and works based on a placebo effect.
