Just a quick Q- I have a pap scheduled and it will be day 21 of my cycle (post OV) would it affect anything... if something was in fact happening in me?
CarrieDawn
No, it shouldn't affect anything. They do paps on pregnant women with no trouble and the egg and sperm will probably have met by CD 21, but would be still making their way to your uterus. I wouldn't worry about it. Cheers!

nope should make a difference just keep in mind you'll probably spot a little afterwards. I'ver had one everytime i've gotten pregant so I know its safe.

No it won't make a difference. I had my last pap and I was spotting for my period and it didn't matter.

my clinic wanted mine scheduled before my period because after ovulation the irritation to the cervix and vagina could cause uterine contraction which would not aid in implantation but I would ask your clinic. It probably makes a difference if you're doing IVF, IUI or trying on your own.

If you may possibly be pregnant I would not have a pap. I am just about 36 weeks pregnant and I refused a pap because I read so many things about paps and early m/c. I know everybody says they are safe but why take the chance?

I would not have a pap if you have any inclination you are pg. I had one at 7w2d. and miscarried 3 days later. It may not have been a result from the pap but I will never do it again!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
