I am looking to purchase one and from advice from some woman on here they said to look on ebay. I have never used ebay before and am very confused. Is it ok to purchase a used monitor, or should I purchase new?

EWE. I wouldn't buy a used monitor. :/ At least not the kind I use. Mine requires that you pee on a stick (a man obviously thought of this) every morning and then insert it into the monitor. Granted the tip with the urine is covered, but still... that's kinda gross. Plus it supposedly adjusts based on your cycle and when you normally ovulate etc. Although all mine has told me is that there's something wrong with me. GEE - thanks!

I bought one new on ebay for like $60 instead of $90+. It works and all, but with the sticks costing $30 a box it gets a little expensive. I ended up only using mine for about 10 days because I finally read the booklet and it said it may not be accurate for women with PCOS. You can buy one that has been used but it's really hard to clean and may not be acurrate. I wouldn't buy one used from ebay but there are some new ones on there.

I bought a new clear blue easy monitor on ebay with sticks and it is working out very well. Good Luck!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
