So, yesterday I posted that AF came and I was a little surprised she was on time and it was a "flow" and not spotting, since this was the 1st one after my lap. Well, I thought it was a flow. Sorry this is TMI- yesterday AM, I woke up a little crampy went to the bathroom and there was red when I wiped. Usually I start by spotting- brownish, lighter... so I was kinda happy (in a way). Well, instead of getting progressively heavier and turning into a flow, it's now turned lighter and brownish. No more RED?????? Has this happened to anyone? I don't have cramps, but my boobs are killing me. Are my hormones just wacky?? Thanks for your help!

That hasn't happened to me, but I'm hoping that it means BFP for you. The nurse at my RE's office told me a while ago that brown could also mean pregnancy. Sticky baby dust!!!!!

i've had that happen before and usually the red comes back and it gets into a normal flow. now, that was when i was on bcp. since going off the pill i haven't had af (other than one on provera but that was more like heavy spotting for 3 days)

Any possibility you are pregnant? That happens to some women who are. I have had it happen to me in the past and just had a super short cycle. It does not sound like you will get heavy red again since you had the old brown blood today. I hope it is a BFP!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
