I feel nothing for this woman. Why should I feel sorry for her or whatever they were hoping for. I think that she is sick in the head. And her doctor should lose his license!

I just saw the Today show, unfortunately AFTER they interviewed the mother, however, Matt was talking to psychologists and they showed clips from the interview.

Have you seen her? To me, she looked like she's had plastic surgery to look like Angelina Jolie! And maybe she is trying to emulate her?

There is no doubt in my mind this woman has some serious issues and does not care as much as she lets on - otherwise why would she put that many babies at risk? Who knows what will happen to them.

It all seems really strange.....Like the twilight zone or something.
What Dr. implants 6 embryos everytime? And it said that she struggled for 7 yrs b4 she had her first, by my calculations (& i'm no mathematician) that means she was trying since she was 18 (her first is 7).

im speechless its so wrong,im more peed off with the doctors who did it,i think its looking bad on us ladies that need fertility treatment,as the man said in the video they need to tighten the guildlines! bloody hell i think they are tight enough!i think there should be a maxium of embryos put back in but did not agree with digging up our past,he said about checking our criminal records!! so if you did something wrong years ago are they saying we dont deserve to be mothers! do they do this to people without fertility problems! i think not! god im on one now lol

I'm not feeling her story either. But I still blame the RE. how could he put 6 back in a woman who had previous successful IVF's? I just don't get it! I don't know about you guys but I will not watch any show that is paying her money!!

Oh my, back issues, so sorry, so let's have 8 babies at once cause that will make her feel better? What ever! I have migraine head aches too, I have to take narcotics every time I get one which is quite often, but I would run from a doc coming at me with 6 embies! This woman is just crazy, but I do wish her and her children well.

I also read in another article that she didn't pay for any of this.... how many people are in this forum...how many of us have gotten free IVF. Let alone free IVF SEVEN times! Who does IVF on an 18 year old? And she definately had some plastic surgery on her lips...they are HUGE. Something is going on here...I think her mother knows. I read another article where the mother said when her daughter gets home she will be gone.

She didn't pay for any of her treatment?! Oy. I need to go for a walk. So annoyed! They said she's gotten death threats, which I totally thing is WRONG, but I just can't stand to hear about her.

didnt she work at the ivf hospital?talk about staff discount! well thats it ladies we all need to get jobs at our hosps and do our own treatment! im sure we are all experienced enough by now :)

I think something is seriously wrong here. 14 kids under the age of 7???? I didn't realize she worked at the ivf hospital. I knew she worked at a mental hospital until a riot injured her back. Then disability?

Did disability pay for all the ivf? Is that what we need to do? How many of us have gone into serious financial debt to try ivf? How many of us can't even afford to take out a loan for ivf and are waiting until we can? If anyone deserves free ivf, it is the wonderful and loving women on this board!

This makes me so angry! The doc that let her do this should have his license revoked permanently and this lady should not be allowed anything else free - not even a free sample at a bakery or store! She has definitely used up her lifetime free limit. I don't want the innocent babies to suffer though so they should be given what they need but at the same time mommy dearest shouldn't benefit from it.

She should go back into obscurity and the press should ignore her story. We do not need to hear this story anymore! She said all she wanted to be was a mommy, to have kids. Well, that is what we all want too! However, we will not be irresponsible with it. We would all be happy with one baby, our little miracles.

As an infertile woman in PA, with NO IVF coverage, IM MORE THAN PISSED!!! With her and the drs.....

Im 29yrs old and can only have 2 embryos implanted and believe that was her limit too. I think she just took a risk with putting all back at once. She CAN over rule her dr's order and that seems like what she did. I dont think we will ever hear the truth about that issue.

The other is the fact that she lives in CA, where IVF coverage is mandated! They WILL soon change the laws and make things more strick! Us ladies with no coverage can definitely forget about getting it. This has ruined our chances. This is what they didnt want to happen. One bag apple spoils it for the rest of the bunch, obviously no matter what age! After the 6 positive IVF cycles, why would her Dr attempt to implant 6 more? Had to be for the money...... I hope that facility loses it's license FAST!!!!

And in deed, her mother should put her selfish daughter out!!! She allowed her to act this way by continuing to support her through all 7 IVF treatments!!! Not putting her foot down after the 3 or 4th child. She is a grown woman with 14 kids now.

AND she recieved a $170,000 settlement 8yrs ago, she could have purchased a home or even rented until she can get on her feet!! OOPPPSSSS, she decided to fullfil the void in her life of being the only child!!!! WHAT AN IDIOT!!! SORRY - No tears here. Just wish coverage was the same all over!!!! GIVE it to ALL or nobody gets it!

She is a looney toon. I am sorry, but what business does she have even going through IVF with no job or money. Now she's saying she won't take public assistance. Yeah right, how else will she be able to afford all those kids. She's crazy. I am sorry.

I bet she changes her "I won't accept public assistance" story when she gets that hospital bill for over a million dollars.If she is still collecting disability then I think it should be revoked, it takes someone very healthy and fit to carry and care for eight babies plus 6 children.I think her RE should have his license revoked.She supposedly is close to getting her masters degree in counseling but I think she needs some for herself.A good RE would have made her get counseling not put 6 embryos back in.
