My DH has been having some heart problems lately. He had his pulmonary valve replaced with a donar valve when he was 10. They told him it would last 10 years and have to be replaced again. Praise God, it has been almost 15 years! Yesterday we went to Childrens Mercy Hospital and had some tests done. We found out that DH's pulmonary valve is leaking severely and needs to be replaced within the next 2-3 months. We are both very upset and scared. PLEASE PRAY!

The nursing part of me is getting in the way of I faith. I seem to be more caught up in what COULD happen as opposed to what GOD CAN DO!!!!

I am praying now and will continue to pray! So many times what we know, from a medical or scientific standpoint can get in the way of our faith. But, miracles happen all the time around us, to us and to those we love. Many times we don't even realize it. Remember, God works through others and He will work through the doctors and the nurses to help heal your DH. We will all send up the prayers for a safe surgery and speedy recovery.
