Need help please

I had my 6 week echo yesterday. The doc saw the sac but no embryo. He told me I will mc soon but gave me an appointment next week for a 2nd echo to make sure.
I have a retroverted uterus and have read a lot on the internet of case were the only found the maybe later on.
Has this happend to anyone ?
I'm going crazy but I refuse to believe that my pregnancy is doomed.
Pray for me. As long as I haven't mc on my own I'm still holding on to hope.

It actually did happen to me. With my hubbys and mine 3rd pregnancy the first time I could not find anything at all and the second time I had to use the restroom and while I was gone she told hubby I probably had a 3rd not viable pregnancy, well when I came back in she looked some more and low and behold there was my dear Lily and her heartbeat! It did take some digging and the second u/s was 2 weeks after the first. I am praying for ya!

Thanks guys, i'm so happy to have found someone it happend to. I don't know if I'm just delusional but today I couldn't bring myself to consider it's bad news. It might but harder on me next week but I just can't give up hope yet. Thank you for all your prayers.

I had a miscarriage with a sac but no embryo (anembryonic pregnancy) a couple of years ago - I also have a retroverted uterus. My doctor said that it doesn't make you more likely to miscarry with a retroverted uterus, but it's harder to visualize the baby on ultrasound so sometimes women with retroverted uteruses are told that they are going to miscarry but then don't.

I did watchful waiting rather than a D&C because I was nervous that the ultrasound was wrong - although my hcg began to fall which was obviously a clear sign of mc. You should also ask to have a beta-hcg to see if it's rising or falling. If it's falling, I would be concerned about mc.

I hope for your sake that it's a mistake - mc is a horrible feeling!
