My sister is such a pain! She sticks her nose everywhere it doesnt belong!!!! Ever since she found out about my IF she has been non stop looking for ways to fix me she has all this time on her hands as she doesnt work, lives with my mother and hardly looks after her kids so she keeps making all this enquiries at IF hospitals about doctors treatments etc and now she BOOKED ME in to see a specialist in a Sydney hospital GRRRRRR. Look I appreciate the gesture but this is hard enough with out her interference. I already feel that I have lost control over my body after being pocked, prodded, stuck with and made to take by the doctors we have seen without her now deciding on where I should go to get my treatment!!!!!
I am so sick of her!!!!!
I am so sick of her!!!!!

Wow. It's so hard when people mean well but it makes it a lot harder on you. I'd talk to her but I know that's harder said than done.

Hon I bet this is soooo frustrating to deal with.. Maybe it could help to try to remember she is TRYING if not succeeding in being helpful.... so If you talk to her about what is and what isn't helpful maybe she could succeed........ I know that sounds a lot easier than done but just a suggestion... Once again sorry you are frustrated hope it gets better

I agree with everyone else. Try talking to her. Let her know that why'll you appreciate what she is trying to do , what you really need is for her to just be your sister. Listen when you need to talk , hold you when you need to cry and cheer you up when you need to laugh.

you have to let her know how you feel!! its hard because hse is your family but it works pretty good.. i just did it with my sister and mom...

It is nice she is taking an interest and it shows she cares but she did take it a step to far in booking an appt. for you. You will have to just tell her that you appreciate her care but are not interested in her doctor suggestions. My MIL and SIL have tried to shove their doctors at me...I have told them we have already gone through what we need. Hopefully your sister will start being less pushy about her help.

Oh my, this is exactly why I don't want my sisters knowing. They were all fertile myrtles in their day (they're 9, 10 and 11yrs older then me) so they wouldn't understand IF and would be very pushy. Hugs to you honey and I hope you'll be able to talk some sense into your sis and tell her while you appreciate her trying to help she kind of crossed the line. Good luck!
