My mother is out of control! since we told her that the doctor had confirmed that we have an IF problem she has just lost it... first she told me that she is sure I'll get pregnant this or next cycle-FOR SURE- she points out every pregnant woman or baby when we go out shopping like its something I can't see for my self. Also she was nagging me about DH's sperm analysis "has he done it yet?" became her question of the day for about 3 days as well as wanting to know whether I was going to help him with it! I'm already sick of doctors pocking and prodding me, my DH and our sex life without my mother also becoming a semi-quasy expert on infertility! and I REALLY don't need to be shown EVERY pregnant woman or baby that happens to be within eyeshot!

Yeah, mothers have a way of pressing our buttons like no other. I share very little w/ my mother and she's not bad at all. I figure if I have something postive to share with anybody, I will. But I don't need to give anybody, including Mommy Dearest, a play by play. Don't mean to be harsh, but tell her to back off.

My mom gets on my nerves too. She asked me every day after IUI's if I felt pregnant. I finally had to tell her not to ask again that I would let her know either way asap.

The ultimate for me was when after I told my mom about my IF, she responded with "well I never had an issue." Um duh! She had six kids. It was hard for me because I expected my mom to be there for me, but in reality she just doesn't understand. I just fill her in on the bare minimum to keep my sanity :)

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
